How It Works

An On-demand Respiratory Pool

Flex-Pool enables healthcare providers to have access to on-demand respiratory care practicioners. If a therapist is needed, NJRA matches the provider with a qualified therapist in the area who is available to respond to fill the shift.

Requirements

To be a Flex-Pool therapist you must take pride in providing exceptional clinical care and customer service. There are a few other requirements - you must have two years minimum experience as a Respiratory Therapist working in a clinical setting; hold a current RCP license in your state, and possess malpractice insurance.

Compensation

Flex-Pool therapists receive the published hourly rate for the job. On average, hourly rates are between $50 and $75 per hour. All participants in the program are non-exempt and paid in accordance with New Jersey Respiratory’s standard payroll practices.
