How It Works

Telehealth Pulmonologist + NJRA RT at your facility.

Our pulmonologist provides virtual consultations once per week—or more frequently based on patient needs—while our RTs facilitate assessments and care on-site. All residents have a standing order for a pulmonary consult, and the respiratory team screens each patient prior to the visit to determine who would benefit from an assessment or follow-up.

Pulmonologist bills insurance directly – no cost to the SNF.

The pulmonologist submits claims directly to insurance, ensuring that the skilled nursing facility incurs no additional expense.

NJRA bills the pulmonologist hourly for RT support.

NJRA invoices the pulmonologist for the time and expertise of the respiratory therapist who assists with telehealth visits.

Expanded Care. Lower Cost.

This integrated model brings more pulmonology support to patients while reducing out-of-pocket expenses for the SNF.

On-Call Support

When issues arise outside of scheduled rounds, PulmonaryLink is here to help. If a clinical question can be addressed by phone, we’ll coordinate a prompt provider call-back—no telehealth visit required. To submit a request, email PulmonaryLink@NJRespiratory.com or call 973-244-2190.

Requests received before 11:00 AM are typically completed the same day.

Requests received after 11:00 AM may be completed same day or next day, depending on provider availability.
